New Growth is a nonprofit rural community development corporation based in west central Missouri and growing to serve rural Missouri and Kansas.

Our mission is to build local ownership and lasting livelihoods from deep rural roots.

We do it with entrepreneurship resources and community development.

Build thriving rural places

New Growth strengthens the small businesses that enliven small towns.

We offer credit building and micro-financing to rural businesses that are too small, too new, or too credit challenged to get traditional bank financing.

We operate the New Growth Women’s Business Center and work with others in the START HERE Business Acceleration Network to get rural businesses going and growing.

Our Food Systems Program helps food and farm entrepreneurs build local businesses; protect soil, water, and wildlife; and produce high-quality products for nearby markets.
