Ms. Jones has worked with every type of business over her career as a small business counselor and lender. Lisa Jones is currently Chief Economic Inclusion Officer at the New Growth community development corporation, home to the New Growth Women’s Business Center and affiliate of West Central Missouri Community Action Agency. She leads New Growth’s regional program of business technical assistance, credit building and micro-financing. She joined New Growth and West Central after serving as a Lender Relations Specialist for the Kansas City District SBA Office and, prior to that, as a loan officer in rural Missouri for the national St. Louis-based community development financial institution Justine Petersen. Lisa is expert at developing and implementing rural small business assistance and lending programs.
