Empowering Rural Entrepreneurs: Training and Networking Opportunities

Starting and building a business in our local rural region can have unique challenges. New Growth Community Development wants to bridge the gap by connecting both farm and non-farm business owners of West Central Missouri and Eastern Kansas to resources they may not know about such as

·      Business Planning

·      Mentorships & Networks

·      Access to Capital

Connections and insight can accelerate the path to success, thereby creating jobs and strengthening our local communities.

Food and Farm Business Success:

One of these resources includes the Heartland Regional Food Business Center, co-directed by New Growth. Covering five states including Missouri and Kansas, the Heartland Center is dedicated to helping farm and food enterprises start up, grow, and connect with local and regional markets to build a reliable and sustainable local food value chain with a mission of making local food the easy choice.

Partner Highlight:

Another resource is the Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) who offers personalized and extensive services from knowledgeable and helpful professionals focused on your business success. New Growth Women's Business Center often collaborates in events with the Missouri SBDC.
