What does West Central Missouri Community Action Agency (WCMCAA) do?
When people who live rural areas don’t have enough income, it can be hard to access good jobs, quality housing, food, and opportunities that may be more easily accessed in urban areas. WCMCAA connects residents in rural West Central Missouri to help with employment, food, housing, transportation, utility bills, and more, so they can create the success they envision for themselves and their families.
What does New Growth MO do?
Starting and growing a business in rural communities can have extra challenges. New Growth connects both farm and non-farm entrepreneurs and neighbors with resources they may not know about so that more businesses succeed here faster, creating jobs and strengthening our communities.
June 28 - Friday, 6pm, El Dorado Springs, Liston Center Trivia Night - Trivia Night
Trivia night was a great Success! Thank you to all sponsors and participants. We Raised $3000 towards building the Liston Center kitchen.
September 14 - Saturday, from Belton to Adrian, Poker Run
Join in West Central’s first Festival of Games Poker Run to raise money to fight hunger in our communities.
Chose your "ride" and head on out!
Registration is 8am to 9am at Cracker Barrel in Belton, MO.
When you arrive, we’ll tell you the stops where you will draw your cards for the winning hand!
The Best Hand Wins!
The Worst Hand will get a prize too!
Live Auction and fun after the Poker Run at the last stop!

September 20 - Friday, 6pm, Clinton, Primitive Olde Crow Bingo for a Cause
Bingo to Help Kiddos starts 6pm (doors open 5:30). $20 to play.
In addition to bingo, there will be small games like Heads and Tails, Rock Paper Scissors, True/False, and Four Corners, each for $5.
Attendees can also participate in a 50/50 drawing and a Facebook auction, featuring a 2005 Yamaha Road Star Silverado 1700 Motorcycle among other exciting items. Check out the auction at "bingo4kiddos" on Facebook.
The evening will be capped off with a special performance by comedian Nick Lacer, promising lots of laughter and entertainment.
Doors open at 5:30 pm, allowing plenty of time to enjoy delicious food and drinks from the cash bar, with menu options including salads, pizza, and wings.

The Cause - As the chill of winter sets in, the need for warmth and shelter becomes a matter of survival for families and individuals. Your participation in this event and raffle will directly support those facing emergency housing crises in our rural communities across nine Missouri counties who don't have access to homeless shelters or other resources typically found in urban settings. This event will provide crucial funds for first month's rent and utility deposits to those who need help securing a home. Together, we can bring hope and warmth to those in desperate need within our rural communities.
