The 15-county New Growth Women’s Business Center is one year old. It is one of 125 Small Business Administration-designated WBCs in the nation. It is one of only five that focuses on rural entrepreneurs, men and women.
Director Tiffany Frost and Coordinator Lakyn Coleman meet with entrepreneurs in their communities, online, and at headquarters in El Dorado Springs, Missouri. They help directly with business coaching and resources, such as step-by-step business planning. They also help businesses find and access what they need, whether that is help with exporting or financing.
The New Growth Women’s Business Center is part of the regional START HERE Business Acceleration Network. This group of organizations is working together to build business relationships and resources in our rural region.
